Uno Sums

Uno Sums is another game we like to play. You can play as one person or you can play with a challenge with two people. You’ll need to print the game board and then have a deck of Uno cards with just the numbers and the wild cards. Each player draws six cards and tries to see how many of them they can lay down to make those sums. The first player to clear their board wins. Follow along for more teaching tips.

To play this game you can draw numbers on a whiteboard or print out the gameboards below.

You will need Uno number cards and the plain Wild Cards.

You can play by yourself in a “solitaire” style fashion flipping over cards one at a time. Keeping three in your hand.

Or

You can print 2 game boards and play against another player dealing out 6 cards at a turn. During your turn you try to lay down as many cards as you can. If you can clear your whole hand you can have a bonus draw of 2 more cards. When you can’t play any more, the game proceeds to your opponent. You keep going back and forth until the first player covers their board.

Variations: Allow more than 2 cards to make the sums.
