  • Teacher Tip: Have students draw their favorite memory inside the frame, or print out actual photos of your students to paste inside!

2. Differentiated Handwriting & Prompt Pages

  • ☀️ "My Summer Vacation" (Perfect for Back-to-School)

  • 🍂 "My Fall Break"

  • ❄️ "My Winter Break" (Great for January New Year returns)

  • 🌱 "My Spring Break"

  • 📝 Blank Writing Pages (Use your own custom prompts for weekend recaps, field trips, or student-led stories!)

3. Venti-Sized Hallway Banners (Two Styles included!)

  • Dimensions: 2 feet by 6 feet.

  • Designed specifically to be uploaded and printed as a "Large Format Banner" at your local Walgreens, Staples, or FedEx Office.

  • These serve as the ultimate "anchor" for your hallway or bulletin board displays.

Step-by-Step Instructions for UseStep 1: Print Your Banners (The Header)

  1. Select one of the two 2ft×6ft banner files included in your download.

  2. Upload the file to your local photo center (e.g., Walgreens Photo) under their "Banners" or "Large Format Printing" section.

  3. Budget Tip: Look for coupon codes! Photo centers frequently run 40% to 50% off coupons for banners and posters.

  4. Hang the banner at the top of your hallway display or classroom bulletin board.

Step 2: Choose and Print the Writing Sheets

  • For Kindergarten–2nd Grade: Print the pages featuring the primary dotted lines to support proper letter formation.

  • For 3rd Grade–5th Grade: Print the intermediate lined pages for longer, more detailed paragraphs.

  • Choose the prompt that matches your current school season (Summer, Fall, Winter, or Spring).

Step 3: Create the Polaroid Masterpieces

  1. Pass out the Polaroid templates.

  2. Have students illustrate their favorite memory from their break inside the square box.

  3. Instruct them to write their name or the date on the bottom lip of the Polaroid frame, just like a real instant photo.

  4. Glue the completed Polaroid template to the top of their corresponding writing page.

Step 4: Assemble the Display

Hang the students' finished writing pages in neat columns directly underneath your giant 6-foot banner. Use twine and mini clothespins for a true "photo darkroom" aesthetic!
